Scientific mind
Krzysztof Kubiszyn is responsible for the production of tanks in Skarbimierz. His work also includes the implementation of a quality control system and constant contact with employees. Designing a tank is one thing, but the production of a tank is the stage that everyone is waiting for.
Krzysztof is a graduate of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering. He started his professional career as an fitter mechanic, he also gained experience in the technology department, and then as a quality controller. He himself did not expect that this knowledge would result in work at Gpi Poland.
As he admits, a big influence on choosing such a career path was the fact that the industries in which steel is used are constantly developing, both on the domestic and foreign market.
Responsibility for the whole team
When working as a foreman, speed and accuracy in making decisions count. When taking on such responsible responsibilities, it is important, as Krzysztof emphasizes, to be able to work in a team and properly delegate and demarcate tasks.
“Working in our position requires full commitment and disposition. We, as foremen, finally decide whether the components can be used in the construction of tanks and meet the quality standards.”
A new challenge is a new experience
The number of duties in the position of foreman is huge, and decision-making is often associated with risk, working at Gpi gives Krzysztof a lot of satisfaction. As he emphasizes – you should not be afraid of possible failures. “Every day is a new challenge and a new experience – that’s what makes this job interesting. It is true that it is connected with many departments on which we depend, such as sales, production planning or engineering. We are one family that works together for the entire Gpi brand.”
